Stockton Man Shot By Unknown Attacker

STOCKTON (CBS13) - Police say a man was the victim of a random shooting in Stockton overnight.

At around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, the 20-year-old victim was walking with his girlfriend in the 1000 block of North Street when an unknown man walked up and said some things to the victim. The man then pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and fired at the victim three to four times, hitting him once. The man then ran away.

The victim went to a local hospital, where he was treated for a non-life-threatening wound.

The gunman is described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-9 inches tall, weighing 275 pounds. He was dressed all in black.
