Stockton man killed in early morning hit-and-run crash
A 56-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Sunday morning, Stockton police said.
The crash happened just after 8 a.m. near Mariposa Road and Flemons Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene and found a 56-year-old man who had been struck by a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the vehicle fled the area after the crash.
