Stockton man arrested on suspicion of terrorist threats, child abuse

A Stockton 18-year-old was arrested on multiple charges including terrorist threats on Sunday, police said.

Stockton Police said the suspect threatened a 44-year-old man and the residents of an East Park Street home, around 2:45 a.m.

The 18-year-old is also suspected of trying to stab the victim. Police said officers arrived and tried to arrest the suspect, but he resisted and force had to be used.

Police arrested him and identified him as 18-year-old Eduardo Regeno-Hernandez.

He was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, terrorist threats, child abuse and resisting arrest.

According to police, the suspect and the victim know each other.
