Stockton Homicide Suspect Arrested After Chase, Crash

STOCKTON (CBS13) - A homicide suspect was arrested in Stockton after a chase Wednesday afternoon.

The incident started along the 400 block of W. Poplar Street. According to the Stockton Police Department, officers spotted a wanted homicide suspect just before 2:30 p.m. in the area get into a car.

Officers tried to pull the car over, but the driver took off.

The car kept going until it crashed, police say. Officers say the driver tried to hide, but a police K9 found the driver inside the car. He was soon taken into custody.

Police have identified the suspect as 22-year-old Robert Baguindo. He is facing murder, evading and resisting arrest charges.
