Body Of Drowning Victim Located In Stockton After Hours-Long Search

STOCKTON (CBS13) – A dive team located the body of a drowning victim in a Stockton waterway, authorities said on Sunday.

Stockton police said reports came in at around 3:30 p.m. Saturday of a man seen swimming in McLeod Lake from Weber Avenue toward Weber Point and never resurfacing.

His body was located at around 10:45 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was only described as a Hispanic man in his 30s. His identity was not released.
