Stockton Developer's Friends, Family Hold Vigil 3 Months After Murder

STOCKTON (CBS13) — Family and friends gathered to remember the loss of a Stockton real-estate developer who was killed earlier this year.

Tim Egkan, 32, was attacked a few blocks from his home on Lincoln and Poplar streets, stabbed in the abdomen. No one has been arrested in his Sept. 13 murder.

He was a developer called Ten Space who is negotiating to buy vacant properties in Downtown Stockton.

"It's not a cold case, it's an active case, but we still need people to come forward," his father Jeff Egkan said. "We still need leads. Also, doubled the reward from $20,000 to $40,000 in the hopes that helps."

He says Tim's biggest passion was on community projects. Ten Space broke ground recently on a community garden project Egkan was heading.
