Stockton police say driver abandoned vehicle after hitting, killing 60-year-old man

Stockton Police said a 60-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run on Friday night.

Around 7:40 p.m., a driver crashed into a man who was near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Hunter Street, police said.

The driver then abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
