Woman's Body Found In Garbage Can In Stockton

STOCKTON (CBS13) - A North Stockton neighborhood is on edge after a woman was found dead and stuffed in a trash can.

Investigators have a person of interest in custody but haven't said how he knew the victim, described as being only in her 30s.

A neighbor named Alan tells CBS13 he heard nothing.

"This is way out of the ordinary, especially in this area, in this corner. Everbody knows everybody," said Alan.

Neighbors say no one who lives on the street has been reported missing.
