Cutler was signed by the Kings this this summer after General Manager Vlade Divac decided the team needed some veteran leadership off the bench. When the team had a player's-only meeting during their seven-game losing streak back in November, the player to come out and speak to the media on behalf of the rest of the locker room was Butler.
According to Stein's sources, Butler's 10 minutes per game (in only eight games) aren't enough to keep himself happy. Butler has mostly been on the bench this season without any playing time. In the eight games he has played in, the Kings have only won once (Nov. 13 vs. Brooklyn).
