Stars Turn Out For 'Taste Of The NFL' Event

DALY CITY (CBS13) – It was a red carpet affair sure to tickle your taste buds.

"I'm cooking pork belly citrus cured pork belly kimchee glaze with Brussel sprout hash," said Beau Macmillan, executive chef from Phoenix.

Now in its 25th year, the Taste of the NFL is celebrating its silver anniversary all in an effort to raise money and fight hunger around the country.

"To be a part of this and for it to filter back into feeding America something very dear to me made a lot of sense," said singer Nick Lachey.

And that food was prepared by 32 well-known chefs from each NFL city.

"We can't lose sight of the fact that a lot of kids go hungry in the country," said actress Alyssa Milano. "So I love the NFL to just bringing awareness to that, but also lots of good food."

And as you grabbed some food, NFL players at each station signed autographs for fans who paid $700 a ticket to be here.

From auction tables, to Third Eye Blind closing out the night.
