Stanislaus County Fair Sees 7 Percent Increase In Visitors

TURLOCK (CBS13) - Admission at the Stanislaus County Fair was up this year.

Close to 249,000 people visited the 104th annual fair in Turlock, which saw a seven percent increase over 2014, according to a statement from fair organizers.

"We consider ourselves very lucky to have such a supportive community," said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. "The Fair at its core has a lot of history imbedded [sic] on its grounds and is a special event for the community."

Organizers mentioned interesting attractions, free park and ride service and admission-free periods on Sundays as some of the draws at this year's fair.
