Southwest Flight Delayed At SMF Due To 'Non-Credible' Threat

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A non-credible threat has nonetheless forced passengers onboard a Southwest Airlines flight at Sacramento International Airport to deplane.

An airport official says a threat was made against flight 214 Friday morning. The flight was scheduled to fly to Los Angeles at 10:05 a.m.

Passengers and bags were removed from the plane and Sacramento County sheriff's deputies are at the scene going through luggage as a precaution.

As soon as the sweep is done the flight will be allowed to leave.

TV personality Jillian Barberie was apparently one of the passengers onboard the flight.
