Police Investigating Homicide In Sacramento Neighborhood After Shooting Report

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police are investigating a homicide after a man died in a south Sacramento neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.

The victim was reportedly found outside along the 1400 block of 68th Avenue. Sacramento police say officers responded to the scene to investigate reports of a shooting.

At this time, police have not released any suspect information and said they are not actively searching for a suspect at this time.

Detectives believe this was an isolated incident and there is not a threat to the community at this time.

The victim's identity has not yet been released.
