Man Shot In South Sacramento, Later Dies

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police are investigating a homicide in south Sacramento early Thursday morning.
Officers say it happened in about 5:30 a.m. on Muirfield Way and 68th Avenue, just south of Florin Road.
A man was shot.

Officers and firefighters tried to save his life, but he died while on his way to the hospital.
There is no suspect information at this time.
No other details about the incident have been released so far.
