Source: Reggie Bush To Sign With The 49ers
Reggie Bush is coming to the Bay Area. A source has informed ESPN that the California native and former USC running back has agreed to sign with the San Francisco 49ers.
The 30-year-old RB was released by the Detroit Lions in February. The release allowed the Lions to save $1.7 million in their salary recap space.
Bush was a 1,000 yard rusher for the Lions back in 2013, the first year of his contract. The following season was not so great the for the star player. Bush was plagued with injuries in 2014 which included one to the ankle. The RB only played in 11 games with 76 carries for 297 yards.
Recently signed Wide receiver, Torrey Smith, tweeted about Bush joining the team.
