Power Restored To 23,000 SMUD Customers After Outage In Sacramento County

RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) — Power has been fully restored after a SMUD outage impacted up to 23,000 customers near Rancho Cordova Sunday evening.

The outage impacted the area between Rancho Cordova and Mather Field.

At this time, it is unclear what caused the outage, but the power went out at around 5:43 p.m. Power was restored shortly after 7 p.m.
