The incident happened late Wednesday morning. Sacramento Police say a woman was walking near the 6600 block of Cougar Drive when, a little before 11 a.m., a man drove up in a white pickup truck.

The woman says the man first started to ask her for directions, but then pulled out a gun and demanded that she get in his truck. She was able to run away.
