Sierra Weather: Mountains Covered In Snow

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The storm that's been bringing rain to the lower elevations has buried parts of the mountains in snow.

Over the past 24-hours, the National Weather Service says Kirkwood has received 31 inches of snow, Sierra at Tahoe 37 inches, and Castle Peak a whopping 60 inches.
