Sierra Weather: I-80 Reopening After 22 Hours

TRUCKEE (CBS13) — Caltrans is reopening Interstate 80 for the first time in nearly 24 hours.
ALSO: Sierra Weather: Mountains Covered In Snow
Update: as of noon estimated time for reopening I-80 in the Sierras. At 2 pm. the eastbound lanes and 3 pm for the westbound lanes.

Please be prepared to watch for snow removal equipment.
The eastbound lanes in the Sierra are projected to open at 2pm.
Westbound lanes open at 3pm.
Update: I-80 Sierras - big rigs will be held until the vehicles are cleared , this could take two hours or longer. Caltrans will update again truckers at 4 pm.
