Sean Coleman, 15, identified as North Highlands shooting victim
NORTH HIGHLANDS - We now know the name of a teen who was shot and killed Friday night in North Highlands.
Fifteen-year-old Sean Coleman was shot and killed on the corner of Shell and Lenore streets. He attended Encina High School, his friends and family say. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office says the shooting happened around 8 p.m. The caller told deputies they heard gunshots and could see a male lying on the ground.
A Gofundme page for Coleman says he was raised in Yuba-Sutter and Sacramento counties and played youth basketball and youth and high school football for several years.

Shortly after Coleman was shot, deputies performed life-saving measures until Sacramento Metro Fire arrived, but the boy was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made in the case.
