SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is searching for a missing child.

Jadianna Larson, 6, was last seen at her home in the 3900 block of 47th Avenue at 11 a.m. Her caretaker had a medical emergency that wasn't discovered until 8:30 p.m. by a visiting family member.

Larson is described as a light-skinned black female child who stands 3'5" tall and weighs about 60 pounds. She has brown ear-length curly hair and brown eyes and has a birth mark on the center of her forehead which has the appearance of a bruise.

She was last seen wearing light blue pajamas with an unknown Disney print.

Authorities say Jadianna has not been in school all week.

Since the disappearance has not been a confirmed kidnapping, an Amber Alert has not been issued for Jadianna, the sheriff's department says.

Anyone who may have seen her or anyone who took her in is asked to call the sheriff's department at (916) 874-5115.
