Seth Curry Follows In Brother's, Dad's Footsteps

Younger brother of MVP and NBA Champion Stephen Curry, as well as the second son of former NBA player Dell Curry, Seth Curry is getting his shot with the Sacramento Kings. Keeping with family tradition, it was announced today that Seth will wear No. 30 on his jersey, just as Dell and Steph have done before him.

He has played brief stints with the Pheonix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Memphis Grizzlies, but has only had a combined 21 minutes of actual playing time over the last two years. Other than that, he's been a star of the Developmental League for the Santa Cruz Warriors. So far in the NBA, he hasn't had the chance to wear No. 30 in honor of his dad and brother - with the number being taken by Earl Barron of Pheonix, Carrick Felix of Cleveland and Jon Leuer of Memphis.

He wore the number at Duke all three years.

Reggie Evans wore the number on the Kings last season, but with his expected departure this offseason via free agency, the number became available to the youngest Curry. I'm sure Curry was glad Evans was leaving, as the 12-year veteran has worn that same number on all seven teams he has played for his whole NBA career.
