Series Of Break-Ins Investigated At Davis Soccer Club

DAVIS (CBS13) – A Davis soccer club is out thousands of dollars after a series of thefts and vandalism at their complex.

The Davis Legacy Soccer Club says the complex has been targeted several times over the last couple of weeks.

A defibrillator, a quad and other equipment have been stolen.

Some of the coaches' storage sheds have also been damaged.

Staff say it all adds up to a loss of more than $5,000.

"Let's face it. We're out here so the kids can have a good time and play soccer. We're a non-profit, and we're just trying to make this all go away," said Mark Carroll, VP of Operations for the Davis Legacy Soccer Club.

The Yolo County Sheriff's Department is now investigating the case.
