Davis Police Speak With Missing Davis Woman, Call Off Search

DAVIS (CBS13) - Police in Davis are no longer looking for a pregnant Davis woman who was reported missing over the weekend.

At around 1 a.m. Sunday, Julia Watson, 29, left her home on Scripps Drive with just a rain jacket and a bed sheet after getting into an argument fight with family members, according to a statement from the Davis Police Department.

Watson called her father Sunday night to report that she was OK. Despite the call, police still continued their search for with the woman to ensure that she was in good health, said Lt. Tom Waltz, a Davis Police Department spokesperson.

According to a Davis Police Department statement issued Monday, officers spoke with Julia and no longer consider her a missing person.

Julia is seven months pregnant.
