Arrest Warrant Served For Ex-Stockton Mayor Anthony Silva As Authorities Search Kids Club
8 p.m. UPDATE: Silva has since removed two Facebook posts from public view.
The first was one was posted at 12:36 p.m. on Wednesday when he posted the following image, saying "Apparently Stockton can manage without me for a while so I decided to go explore the world. 'I am leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again.'"
The image shows a plane heading for Panama, while the quote is a reference to a John Denver song.
The second post was a minute-long video of a downpour where Silva describes himself as being in Colombia.
Both posts received several critical comments relating to Thursday's search warrants.

3:45 p.m. UPDATE: A source has confirmed to CBS13 that two search warrants are being served—one at the Stockton Kids Club and one at former Stockton Mayor Anthony Silva's house.
Silva's attorney says an arrest warrant has been issued for the former mayor, but the purpose was not disclosed. The warrant is not related to a case in Amador County.
Silva is currently out of the country, according to his Facebook page.
The Stockton Kids Club was once known as the Stockton Boys And Girls Club. The club lost its charter after questions arose in 2013 about the way the money was spent.
Silva was the former CEO of that group.

STOCKTON (CBS13) - The San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office conducted a search warrant at the Stockton Kids Club, authorities say.
The scene is along Olympic Circle, off of E. Lafayette Street and Rendon Avenue.
It is unclear what case the warrant is related to or what they were looking for.
