Search On For Suspect Hurting Cats In Stockton Neighborhood

STOCKTON (CBS13) – People living in a Stockton neighborhood are worried about who or what could be hurting their cats.
Neighbors say cats are being sprayed by some kind of liquid causing injuries so bad some have been put down.
Bridal Veil Circle neighbors say, in the past week, cats have been found drenched in the liquid – causing their hair to fall out, burns and other injuries.
At least four cats have died, and several others have been hurt.
"That kind of person to me, in our area, [with] that kind of mindset, it's kind of scary," said Nancy Vivian, who found one of the injured cats.
Stockton police referred the case to animal services, who are still investigating the case.
