Search On For Rio Linda Shooting Suspect
RIO LINDA (CBS13) – Deputies in Rio Linda are looking for a man who allegedly walked into a family's home and shot at them.
It happened late Thursday night along Rinetti Way, just northeast of Westside Elementary School.
According to a homeowner, the suspect walked into their house through an unlocked door and appeared to be under the influence.
The homeowners chased the suspect out of the home, and that's when the suspect turned around and shot at them.
"It's just kind of scary. We don't get this kind of thing happening here often it's freaky not knowing what happens they're not letting anyone in their homes they evacuated," said resident Kimberly Silvas.
No one was injured, but residents in the area were evacuated as authorities searched the neighborhood.
