Search On For Motorcyclist Who Flew Over Antioch Bridge

ANTIOCH, Calif. (AP) - The search resumes Monday for a motorcyclist who was thrown into the San Joaquin River after colliding with a car on the Antioch Bridge.

The California Highway Patrol the motorcyclist may have been speeding when he or she collided with a car on the bridge Sunday afternoon. When officers arrived, they found the motorcycle at the high point of the bridge, but not its driver.

CHP Officer Peter Van Eckhardt says the motorcyclist likely flipped over the railing and into the water below.

No one in the car was injured.
