YOLO COUNTY (CBS13) — The search for a missing former Harlem Globetrotter in Yolo County is being scaled back nearly two weeks after he went missing, the sheriff's office announced on Wednesday.

Deputies have searched a 27-mile stretch of State Route 16 since Rico Harris' car was found at the Yolo County Parks Lower Site parking area. He was last seen on Oct. 10.

Harris, 37, is from Alhambra, California, and was believed to be traveling between there and Seattle.

Detectives will continue the investigation, and extra patrols in the area by marked and unmarked vehicles will continue.
