Man Suspected Of Shooting Wife Turns Himself In To Police

12:40 p.m. Update: Police say Gerardo Romero has been arrested.

Romero turned himself in to Roseville Police, officers announced early Monday morning.

LOOMIS (CBS13) - Authorities are investigating after a Roseville man was suspected of shooting his wife.

Deputies say 43-year-old Gerardo Romero shot his wife in a Roseville home along Dudley Drive on Sunday afternoon.

Romero fled to an associate's home on Horseshoe Bar Road in Loomis. When authorities arrived, Romero was in front of the house and took off on foot.

He has not been seen since.

Romero's wife is now recovering in the hospital, but it's not clear how seriously she was hurt.

Investigators believe Romero is armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him or knows where he might be is asked to call authorities.
