Don't Use Your Fireplace In The San Joaquin Valley Tonight

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY (CBS13) — A one-day fireplace ban is in effect starting at midnight on Tuesday in the San Joaquin Valley.

The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District issued its first restriction on the entire valley of the season on Monday, citing potential poor air quality.

Tuesday won't be a complete ban. Residents with an registered emission-compliant wood-burning device can burn. See here for more details.
