Samantha Green Found Guilty Of Murdering Baby Justice

YOLO COUNTY (CBS13) — Samantha Green has been found guilty in the death of Baby Justice.

Green was arrested in February of 2015 in the death of her 19-day-old baby, Justice Rees.

Greeen and Rees went missing on Feb. 21, 2015 when they didn't arrive for a family event. Green was found emerging from a slough in Knights Landing two days later, telling a man who lived nearby to call 911 and that her baby was dead. Search crews found Justice's body the next morning.

An autopsy done shortly after Justice's body was found did not reveal obvious signs of trauma.

At the time, Yolo County Sheriff Ed Prieto called it one of the worse situations he'd seen.
