Sacramento Zoo's Newborn Hoglets Given Star Wars-Inspired Names

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Judge them not by their size, you should not, because their ally is the Force.

Four new Red River Hogs, two boys and two girls, were born at the Sacramento Zoo over the weekend. The hoglets were born to the zoo's adult pair of Red River Hogs.

Zookeepers have named the hoglets after characters from the latest Star Wars movie: Poe, Kylo, Finn and Rey.

The hoglets are quite small right now - all weighing only between 2 and 2.5 pounds - but are expected to be about 120 to 250 pounds when they're all grown up.

Visitors to the zoo will have to wait a week before the hoglets make an appearance as zookeepers are keeping the little ones off exhibit to help the family bond. Hopefully none will fall to the dark side.

Red River Hogs are native to Central and West Africa.
