Sacramento Zoo lockdown prompted by threat investigation
A police investigation nearby prompted the Sacramento Zoo to be placed on lockdown early Friday afternoon.
Sacramento police say officers responded near South Land Park Drive and Sutterville Road for a possible threat investigation.
After an investigation, police say officers found no credibility to the threat.
Officers remain present in the area for the time being.
