Sacramento Police Investigating Homicide In North Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A man is dead after a shooting in in North Sacramento early Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened just after 3:30 a.m. on Saginaw Circle just off Truxel Road, south of San Juan Road.

Sacramento Police say the victim is an adult male. He was pronounced dead on the first floor of a home at the scene.

There was reportedly some sort of altercation before the shooting, but there are no signs of forced entry.

Police believe the victim and the suspect knew each other.

Detectives are interviewing two witnesses who were in the home at the time of the shooting.
