Sacramento Police Department K-9 Returns To Duty After Being Stabbed

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A Sacramento Police K-9 who was stabbed will return to work on Friday.

This new picture shared by the Sacramento Police Canine Association shows K-9 "Ranger" surrounded by care packages and treats.

Ranger was stabbed earlier this month in the Tahoe Park area as police were trying to arrest a suspect.

He underwent several weeks of rehab at home.
