Sacramento Kings Darren Collison Likely Done For Season After Core Muscle Surgery

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Sacramento Kings guard Darren Collison has undergone surgery to repair a core muscle injury.

The team said the surgery was done Tuesday in Philadelphia.

Collison will begin rehabilitation immediately and is expected to be out for approximately six weeks. If he is out for six weeks, he may make it back for the team's finale on April 15.

Collison is averaging 16.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and a team-high 5.6 assists per game this season.
