Sacramento Ice Cream Shop Founder Dies

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The Co-founder of Leatherby's has died.

81-year-old Dave Leatherby Sr. died after a fight with pneumonia.

Dave opened his flagship ice cream shop in Sacramento in 1982.

Leatherby's now has a location in Sacramento, Citrus Heights, and Elk Grove.
