Sacramento County Man, 89, Suspected Of Murdering Wife, 83
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Authorities say an 89-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife.
Detectives with Sacramento County Sheriff's Department say they were called to an apartment along the 8600 block of Florin Road Friday to help with the death investigation of a 83-year-old woman. The woman reportedly had suspicious injuries, leading detectives to believe she had been killed.
The woman's husband, Masaharu Ono, was ultimately arrested. He has been booked at Sacramento County Jail and is facing a charge of murder.
Detectives have not detailed how or why Ono is suspected of murdering his wife.
