Sacramento Area Fire Crews Respond To Multiple Water Rescues

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Despite the mild weather early in the day, local fire departments responded to multiple water rescues in the Sacramento region on Sunday.

The first water rescue took place in Steelhead Creek Canal near Natoma Street in North Sacramento. Later Sunday afternoon, crews responded to another rescue in Steelhead Creek near West Elverta Road and Sorento Road, according to Metro Fire dispatchers.
