Sac Republic FC's First Bonney Field Game Sells Out

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – In just a few hours after they went on sale, the Sacramento Republic FC's tickets for their first game at Bonney Field sold out.

Bonney Field's inaugural game will be against the Colorado Rapids on June 20. Just an hour and a half after tickets went on sale, the team announced that the game had sold out.

According to the Ticketmaster website, tickets are also scarce for all of the other home games at Bonney Field.

Sac Repbulic FC's new stadium will hold 8,000 people. The team had been playing their home games at Sacramento City College's Hughes Stadium, which holds about 23,000 people.
