Cars, Garbage Catch Fire In Sacramento Homeless Camp Blaze

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Crews have put out a homeless encampment fire that resulted in garbage and multiple vehicles catching fire Thursday afternoon.

The Sacramento Fire Department said the fire was burning in the area of Power Inn Road and Cucamonga Avenue, which is just south of the intersection of Folsom Boulevard and Power Inn Road.

A smoke plume could be seen in the sky above the area but crews put the blaze out shortly after 5 p.m.
