Ryan Morales Guilty Of Second-Degree Murder For Lodi Crash That Killed 6
STOCKTON (CBS13) — The man accused of causing a deadly crash that claimed the lives of six members of a Lodi family has been found guilty of second-degree murder.
The October 2013 crash killed Luis Miranda, his pregnant wife Viviana and three of his four children. Only a then-9-year-old Eden Miranda survived the devastating crash, although it was with broken legs, a punctured liver and a wound to his head.
Wednesday, Morales was found guilty of six counts of second-degree murder and gross vehicular manslaughter.

Investigators say Morales had shared a bottle of vodka with his father, then got behind the wheel. Investigators say he traveled at a high rate of speed down a Lodi street and the speedometer stuck at 100 mph. His blood-alcohol content was reportedly a .2—two and a half times the legal limit.
Morales is scheduled to be sentenced on April 4 at 10 a.m.
