Rocklin Robbery Suspect Forces Restaurant Employees Into Freezer

ROCKLIN (CBS13) — Police in Rocklin are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a restaurant on Friday.

Officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Sunset Boulevard just before 10 p.m. and found that the suspects had fled. The victims told police that the suspect forced his way into the business when an employee opened a door after the restaurant had closed and threatened the victims with a handgun.

The suspect told the victims to give him money and then forced them into a freezer.

Rocklin Police say the suspect is a Hispanic male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, about 175 pounds, armed with a black handgun and was wearing a white sweatshirt with blue gloves.
