Truck Full Of Paper Shreddings Catches Fire In Rocklin

ROCKLIN (CBS13) - Fire crews responded to a fire coming from a truck in the Stanford Ranch area, said Rocklin Firefighters.

Crews worked for almost two hours to extinguish a fire that had caught amongst paper shreddings in a delivery truck.

After the fire was extinguished, the owner was grateful that they didn't need to replace their $200,000 piece of equipment.

Rocklin Firefighters responded to investigate smoke coming from a truck in the Stanford Ranch area. Crews worked for nearly 2 hours to remove and extinguish paper shreddings from the vehicle to locate the fire buried 8 feet deep. Our crews hard work and tactics limited the damage and saved the owner the huge expense of replacing this roughly $200,000 piece of equipment.
