Former Rocklin High School Student Selected As April's Playboy Playmate Of The Month

(CBS) - A former Rocklin High School student is being featured as Playboy's Playmate of the Month in April.

Former cheerleader and straight-A student, Alexandra Tyler, 20, was going to become a special education teacher until her mother convinced her to attend an open casting call in L.A. There, she was signed to a modeling contract on the spot, according to a statement from Playboy.

After moving to L.A., she modeled in campaigns for L'Oréal and Volcom.

Tyler graduated from Rocklin High in 2011.
