Riverbank Middle School Student Approached By Suspicious Car

RIVERBANK (CBS13) - Authorities are asking parents and children to be extra cautious after a suspicious incident Monday afternoon.

Riverbank police say a student at Cardozo Middle School was approached by a man in sedan with tinted windows. The student reportedly heard the man ask "Do you want some candy?"

The student then ran back to the school and reported the incident.

Investigators are now working to try and identify the driver and car. Anyone with information relevant to the investigation is asked to call investigators at (209) 869-7162.
