Rio Vista Bridge Repairs Complete, Normal Operations To Resume

RIO VISTA (CBS13) - The Rio Vista Bridge is set to resume normal operations.
Wednesday morning, US Coast Guard officials said repairs to the bridge have been completed.
UPDATE: In the Delta, SR-12 Rio Vista Bridge has REOPENED to motorists. Caltrans thanks motorists for your patience during emergency repairs.

The bridge had been subject to intermittent closures since August due to mechanical problems. Caltrans said the mechanism that raises and lowers the bridge was damaged.
Delta drivers had to detour around the closures.
