Video: Mother Rat Fights Snake That Stole Her Baby

A girl was walking in Naples, Italy when she saw a snake attacking a mother rat and her offspring, according to The Telegraph. The snake had the baby in its mouth when the mother's instincts kicked in and she fought the snake until it finally let go of the little rat. The mother rat then chased the snake into the grass and returned for her rat, which appears to have survived.
