Rain Returns To Valley, Most Action South Of Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Wet weather has finally returned to Northern California.

Some spotty rain showers already hit the northern San Joaquin Valley early Wednesday morning.

However, the best chance of rain will come Wednesday evening into early Thursday morning. Most of the moisture will be south of Sacramento in the Stockton, Modesto, foothills and the higher country.

Heavy rains could come overnight, with the higher elevations possibly looking at a quarter of an inch of rain.

Even if you don't see some rain, much of Northern California will be seeing a relatively mild day in temperatures due to cloud cover.
